STRIVA Devices charge via USB. Your STRIVA Device comes with an AC wall adapter which allows charging without a computer. Headphones will pulse green while the battery is charging. The LED will turn solid green when the battery is charged.
The included Y-USB cable can be used to charge both ear buds at once. This cable CANNOT be used for setup.
The STRIVA CAP will only display the pulsing/solid green LED when plugged into and then ejected from a PC USB port. The STRIVA CAP LED is always teal when plugged into the AC Adapter.
The STRIVA CAP does NOT charge when plugged into an audio device to stream music. The STRIVA CAP cannot charge and stream music simultaneously.
For STRIVA Headphones:
Press and hold the power button on your STRIVA Headphones until the status LED turns blue, and let go to enter WiFi Mode.
Press and hold the power button on the STRIVA Headphones until the status LED turns teal, and let go to enter STIVA CAP Mode.
For STRIVA CAP:
Connect the STRIVA CAP to a media source or USB charger to turn it ‘on’
All STRIVA devices will automatically power off after three minutes of inactivity.
For STRIVA Headphones:
Press and hold the power button on your STRIVA Headphones until the status LED turns red to turn them off.
For STRIVA CAP:
Disconnect the STRIVA CAP from the USB cable to turn it ‘off’
Use the capacitive (touch) strip on your STRIVA device to adjust volume. This strip is indicated by a raised ridge on the device. Pairs of devices, such as STRIVA TAPs, will sync their volume; you only need to adjust the volume on one device.
Adjust the volume on the media device the STRIVA CAP is connected to. For best sound, this device should be turned all the way up to max volume. If your media device has an auto-volume limiting feature be sure to turn this off.
A forced reset can be used to “reboot” a device that is stuck.
For STRIVA headphones:
Press and hold the power button for at least 15 seconds.
Release the power button.
Press the power button to turn the headphones back on.
For STRIVA CAP:
Plug the 3.5mm audio to mini-USB adapter cable into the STRIVA CAP only (leave the 3.5mm audio jack unplugged).
Wait at least 15 seconds.
Unplug the mini-USB cable.
Reconnect the STRIVA CAP to the media source using the adapter cable.
If your STRIVA device is still not responding, try the reset procedure a second time. Please contact Technical Support for additional assistance.
