Hello, I just wanted to say that I was pleasantly surprised to find
replacement earpads still available for my PortaPro stereophones. Not only
were these consumables in-stock and available for easy ordering on your
website, the price hadn't changed from the last time I bought replacement
foams, for my *previous* pair of PortaPro headphones over a decade ago!
This is absolutely astounding service and support, combined with simply the
best-sounding product on the market... so be sure to forward these sentiments
to everyone at Koss so everyone knows that all your hard work *is* noticed
and appreciated!
Thanks again,
Another Loyal Koss Customer

I just wanted to take a minute to say thanks for making such a great product. I love to
run, and I had trouble finding an earbud that wouldn't fall out of my ear. I also had trouble
with background noise. One day I found your plug style earbud and I haven't had a
problem since. I like to run about 6 miles a day, and I never leave home without my ipod
and my Koss earbuds. I had my earbuds for about a year when my ARMY National Guard
unit deployed to Iraq. I was away from home for 22 months and my Koss earbuds never
failed me. I ran the perimeter of Camp Fallujah every day for a year. Then I was sent to
Tqqadum and they have a nice track set up there, so I ran every day on the track. The
course I had set up around Fallujah was about 7.7 miles, and I ran enough laps around
the track in Tqqadum to equal about 6.5 miles. I returned home last July. When I went to
the gym to run on a treadmill the other day I noticed that there were a few spots where
bare wires were showing because of the extreme use these earbuds have seen. I went to
Wall mart and I found a couple of brands, but I ended up with a set of Koss KEB24g
earbuds. I don't think I'll ever switch brands.
Thanks guys, and keep up the great work!

I recently returned a set of Koss Pro 4AA headphones to you before Christmas
for lifetime warranty repair. This note is to simply thank you sincerely for
your WONDERFUL service, and no-dickering policy. I THINK your staff replaced
the old ones with a new set, rather than trying to repair the old ones. I have
had only two sets of professional headphones since 1967. The first was Koss Pro 4A.
The second was the one you just repaired/replaced. Not bad for 40 years of
service! You make a remarkable product...and you stand behind it!
Bravo!!!

I had a pair of Koss Pro 4AA headphones that I bought in the 1970's, I
believe. They were totally trashed, missing the head pad, wires had been
patched many times, the all the foam and rubber parts had deteriorated and
I was ready to toss them out. By chance, I visited the Koss website and
noticed that the headphones had been reintroduced. Also, I noticed that I
had a lifetime warranty. So I packed them up, sent them in and received
what looked and sounded like a brand new shiny set of Pro 4AA's. That's
what I call a warranty!

Sirs:
In these times of general discourse and complaints, I thought it would be nice
to tell you just how pleased I am with your KPH/6 Portable Stereophone headset
earphones. I have done medical transcription from home for 10+ years and have
been through many, many sets of earphones at many different prices. I was so
excited to find yours just on a whim at such a wonderful price and for them to
be so user friendly and durable, I thought it warranted notification to the
company. Thanks again for supplying such a fine product!
Merry Christmas!!

I've been using Koss Porta Pro headphones now since the mid 80's. That's
20 years of great sound. Just ordered replacement headphone cushions...again.
Thanks for making excellent products and for shipping for free. A+

The first ever No-Questions-Asked repair policy - THAT ACTUALLY WORKS. I
broke the right side of my stereo phone at the gym so I bought cheap
Panasonic replacements and wasn't too happy with them. I decided to check
out other Koss products and stumbled upon the Warranty & Repair
information, followed instructions on how to send in my stereo phones for
repair and today I received a new pair (probably because they were not able
to fix my old one) :) yay!!!
I would recommend Koss Products to everyone not just because of this policy
but also because there is a significant difference between the sound
quality of their products compared to their competition.

This is my first Koss product, I bought some regular headphones for five
bucks at Wal-Mart. Well Koss just won a new costumer! The quality is
exceptional and just as important is having a good price. It came with an
extra set of pads, witch is nice because my last two pairs wore out with no
replacement. And although I wont bother to warranty a five dollar product I
like how the lifetime warranty is there. Good job Koss, keep the price and
quality good and I look forward to my next Koss purchase.

Sent to you on 11-07 my Koss Pro4-AA for repair, these had been used a lot &
needed repair. Your folks did a beautiful repair job & was amazed that on cost
was postage. Your people give me a new sense of pride in the fact that we still
have people and companies in this country who can do good work. Any audio I
buy in future, I will look for the KOSS name. Thanks for a job well done!

The PortaPro "parts" arrived well withing the 5-7 days.
When companies screw up - they hear about it.
When companies "do good", or are exceptional, nobody hears about it.
I've had my PortaPro and Pro 4X/Plus headphones since October 1984. And
I've been looking for replacement pads for a couple of years; not even
thinking about the internet. What a surprise and pleasure it was to
find Koss on-line, with parts for 23 year-old headphones, AND at a price
LOWER than 1984,
In my book you are at the top of the list. I have friends who have
admired the PortaPros frequency range, and are likely to order a set
since we now have a ready source.
Thanks to everybody at Koss for making my day with respect to
old-fashioned customer service.

I just received my new MV1 phones, and I guess I'm going to spend the rest
of the day getting acquainted with them. I have been listening on Koss
PortaPro for some years now, Pro 4AAA+ before that, and even other Koss
phones before that. MV1? Best yet. Very well-knit, smooth sound,
credible stereo image. Thank you!

I have been into audio since I was 11-years old and my first real audio
gear was a pair of HV/1A headphones (They were stolen) I received as a
Christmas gift from my father in 1978. The sound was amazing even when
plugged into the cheap all-in-one 70's stereo complete with the eight track
tape deck. Since that time I have owned a number of pairs of fullsize
headphones ranging in price from $50 to $400 along with a dedicated
headphone amplifier that was around $300. Each pair had certain strengths
and weaknesses such as comfort, better midrange, cleaner bass etc. About
three weeks ago I came across an auction for over a dozen NOS HV/1A's that
were found in an old stereo shop untouched in their original boxes complete
with attached tags and warranty cards. The 20+ year old phones did need new
foam earpads and Koss with their steller product support had the pads
available and were shipped and received in less than a week at a very
reasonable cost. After I replaced the pads on one set I gave the pair a
test run and I could not put them down. I knew these were great phones but
no way could these phones compare with the considerably more expensive
Beyer's or Senn's that I listen to often. To my surprise these gems were
very much comparable in all areas. The bass was extended and clean and the
highs were very accurate and detailed. The phones are also exceptionally
comfortable and I found that I could wear them for hours without fatigue.
Also the phones sounded great out-of-the-box without the need for extensive
burn-in as was required with some of my other headphones. I think Koss
should consider reissueing these phones as they have done with the pro4aa
and the portapro. I have noticed that these rare phones sell at a premium
when available on ebay and get snapped up very quickly. Best regards.

Let me tell you, I have been through quite a few type of earbuds and
none, I mean none of them compare to the sound and the way more reasonable
price for your product. I have experienced the $100(Bose) range and quality
but you guys have the comfort and quality of which I can't find anywhere else
for me. The only short coming is that you can't find them at most retailers, so I go to
Koss.com. I am a believer.
THANKS

I just received another set of Koss headphones. I wanted to take the time to thank Koss
for providing a great product as well as exceptionally fast order processing and shipping
service! I have been involved with Headphones for many years now and can confidently
say that there is no better product in its price range then your KSC75 and KSC35 Clip ons.
They are simply amazing sounding and easily out perform headphones that are at much,
much higher price points. I often give them as gifts and people can't believe the sound
quality. As a member of Head-Fi.org I frequently recommend these 2 classics to all that
inquire about the best sounding open, portable headphone on the market. Looking
forward to the next development that succeeds these 2 models.
Please feel free to pass my appreciation along to all the employees involved at Koss.

I just wanted to write and say thanks. I received a new pair of UR/29
headphones from you today after sending in my old ones with a problem.
It's righteous to do business with a company who stands behind their stuff.
My old 'phones lasted 6 years, let's hope these last just as long!

Hello Koss,
This is an email hopefully to your CEO and hopefully they will read and
listen. Often times in todays world with new pimple faced geeks running many a
company in corporate America, customer service seems to take a back seat. It may
seem trivial to some pencil pusher balancing the company checkbook but please
continue to offer replacement foams for your headsets. I wish to thank you for
your support to loyal customers of your products. I just ordered a replacement
set of foams for my headset and have to tell you this story....
I own a pair of PRO 60. They were made by KOSS but sold under Radio Shack's REALISTIC brand. I only liked them better when I bought them because they were black and not
brown like the KOSS HVXLC's were. My headset has been belting out the soundwaves for OVER 20 YEARS!!!! they have taken one heck of a hammering as I have used them as a professional radio set and in the private sector as a well paid DJ.
To me, they still sound as kick up as the day I bought them and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE
THEM !!!!! About twelve years ago I called the company and bought three sets of replacement foams and a couple of years ago I finally used the last set. Like I said, I love
them. Since they still sound as good to me as the day I bought them, I have no intention
of replacing them, only the foams. So please Mr.CEO don't ever stop supporting your loyal
customers, because after several girlfriends, two college degrees, worldwide travel and numerous employments, my KOSS headset is still belting out the classic rock !!(As of 15 min. ago "Shooting Star" by Bad Company) So I hope your board members have their headsets off and can hear what I am saying when I say Thanks for almost 25 years of helping me make a living, a difference and still Rockin' in America !!

I was shocked to see that you still make the Porta Pro headphones. I bought my first
pair in the mid-80's and they served me well, even through my 6 years in the Navy. I had
them with me during the Gulf War. They were the best fitting, best sounding headphones...
especially for their light weight. They even survived me re-soldering one of
the leads back on! The tight & accurate bass reproduction blew me away. I can't recall what ultimately caused their demise but I got more than a few good years of service from
them. I recently saw them still being available via some web site & snatched up a pair.
I'm listening to them now and they are as good as I remember. Kudos to you for
continuing to making such great headphones.
Sincerely Pleased,
Glenn Dunham

Please let me take a minute to thank your for you're tremendous service you
provided me. I owned 2 pair of "Speed Zone" headphones
and they both have given me years of good service, however they both
had recently developed problems in the wiring. I spoke with a customer
service representive (Lolita) she was very pleasant and helpful and guided
me in returning the headphones for repairs and or replacemnet. I was
astounished and pleased to recieve replacements of QZ-99 headphones for the
cost of shipping only. It is quiet refreshing to find a company that stands
behind their products. I immediately purchased an additional two pairs of
QZ-99 for my racing use. I will spread the word around the NEXTEL circuit
of your customer loyalty.
THANKS

For the past 7 years with extensive air travel, I've listened to my music
on headphones using Etymotics and Bose noise cancelling units and did the
same thing at home.
However, I came across my Koss ESP950s this morning and decided to dust
them off and hook them up. Incredible is the only way to describe the
increase in soundstage and musicality, even from an MP3 source. I thought
that my reduced pleasure in listening to music was due to the inevitable
process of age associated hearing loss. Thankfully not so, the music's all
there - I just needed the right phones to listen to it in full color. Even
Barbecue Bob from 1933 sounds great.
Thank you Koss.

My granfather has had a set of Koss earphones for YEARS, the TD-80 with
the adjustable volume control on the underside of the cup, and they had
finally went kaput. He is very near deaf and this is his only means of watching TV
and staying connected to the world. Needless to say he drove my grandmother
crazy after a week of them being broke. She searched all over our town for them
and no one carried them or anything like them. I told her I would look on line for
them and I decided to go directly to your site. I called your 1800 # and a wonderful
woman @ customer service let me know they were under a lifetime warranty and
all we needed to do was send $6.00 with the product and you would repair it.
My Grandmother got them back on Saturday and they were like brand new! My
Grandfather got to watch the news for the first time in 3 weeks and heard it
perfect. Thank you for making my grandfathers day!

Gentlemen,
I want to extend my thanks to your company for your outstanding product
support and customer service. I recently sent back a set of PRO 4AA stereo
headphones that I have owned since new as an intermittent developed in
the driver end of the unit. Not only were the headphones promptly repaired,
the foam rubber on the headband and the foam cusions around the drivers
were also replaced. These wonderful headphones are not as good as or even
better than when they were new. Thank you so much for standing behind your
product. In an age when "customer service" has almost become an oxymoron,
it is indeed a breath of fresh air to deal with your firm.

I've had the Plugs for over three years now, and their the best earphones
I've ever listened to. My son bought a pair of Sony earphones with the extended
base for $40, but compared to the Koss Plugs, I'm afraid he wasted his money. I
purchased these from Circuit City, but unfortunately they discontinued carrying
them. For roughly $15, these puppy's blow the competition away. After three
years of hard use- working out, and mowing the lawn the right plug broke
where the wire attaches to the actual plug- they still work but I think I'm due
another pair. I appreciate the "no questions asked" lifetime warranty, and
plan to send these back to you guys, but I don't know what I'll do in the
interim between not having such a wonderful product. Thanks for making such a high
quality inexpensive product. I've seen reviews for the Shure E2C's, but
scoffed at the idea of paying $100 when I have one of the best sets of earplugs
ever made, and only paid $15 for them. Thanks again for delivering a great
product.

I just wanted to say that im a professional dj and i own a set of plug
earbuds. My professional dj headphones cannot even match the performance i get out
of myPlugs. I would have to say im an audiophile to the worst degree and these
headphones exceeded my expectations on every level. The bass response is
unlike any other earbud i've heard in my entire life. I will definately be with
koss for life!

THANK YOU - THANK YOU - THANK YOU for continuing to make a QUALITY product in this day and age of cheap throw away materials. I've owned 2 pairs of your Koss Pro 4AA headphones over my 26+ years in the broadcasting business and have never ever been dissappointed with their performance and the lifetime repair guarantee that they carry. The only reason I don't have the 1st pair is because someone stole them many years ago! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK!

Good morning,
I placed an order for replacement ear cushions for my UR40 headphones.
By the way these headphones are the most comfortable headphones I have ever
worn.
I listen to shortwave broadcast and I spend a couple of hours with these phones
on my head and it's like I'm not even wearing them. Great design, Great product.
Thank you

Just a note re: the EQ50--love the thing. It's gotten me and my other typists out of some
really bad situations with tapes that are low in volume, have hissing or windstorm noise
on them, etc.
My one suggestion is that I wish it had an "auto off" feature. We tend to forget to turn it
off, and run the batteries down.
I'm going to go check out the fabulous earbuds you have coming out soon...
Thanks for creating great stuff...!

I just received my Koss Pro-4AA headphones back from repair. I had purchased the set
back in 1974, making them 33 years old! When I was testing a receiver, I needed
headphones, so I pulled out the old Pro-4AA's. Problem! The earpiece elements had
developed a problem, sounded terrible. I started looking at new headphones, but I
always like the Pro-4AA, so getting repair parts would seem like a good idea. I figured
that I could order new parts from Koss since they are still selling the Pro-4AA. When I
called customer service and asked about ordering parts, I was told that all I could order
was the ear pads. But, I could send the headphones back and they would be treated as
under warranty and repaired. I sent them in, after a short turnaround they came back.
Not only did they replace the earpiece elements, they replaced the cord, the pads and
even the headband. These have been essentially been refurbished along with repaired.
It's one thing to stand behind products during their warranty period, but to support a
product that is 33 years old and then to refurbish it for the cost of shipping is something
else! I went ahead and ordered another pair of headphones - another pair of Koss
Pro-4AA's. Other than some minor trim differences, it's hard to tell the difference between
the brand new ones and the refurbished 33 year old pair. Thanks Koss!

I just wanted to say that about a year ago I had sent for the foam padding
for an old pair of headphones by Koss. I received them promtly and they fit
exactly like the original padding. Thank you for that. But I need to say more. The
headphones are the model HV/1 purchased 31 years ago. No this is not an
error they were purchased 31 years ago. I fell in love with the unbelievable
sound the HV/1 reproduced at a Sam Goody record store in a mall while listening
to a stereo system they had on display at the time. I was 16 years old. Now I'm
47 and after purchasing an electric guitar for "MY" 16 year old son I soon
took up the hobby of playing the electric guitar myself and lets just say my wife
does'nt care to listen to the loud amp so I pulled out those HV/1 headphones.
I felt the need to write cause in todays world everyone is quick to complain
but not so quick to compliment when it is due. The Koss HV/1 headphones are
truly unbelievable. I wish I could purchase another pair. I've looked on
ebay to see if someone might just be selling one but as of yet I have not found
a pair. I love these headphones. 31 years old and they sound like they did
when they were new. Thank you for such a great product.
