In 1958, my father, John C. Koss, introduced the world to personal listening with the first Koss SP3 stereophone. That original creation was designed to accompany a portable stereo phonograph player that the listener could carry from any location and enjoy their favorite music without disturbing anyone else. Father was a musician and led his own band for many years.
