They don't make them like this anymore, glad they're back!
Overall
I bought a $300 pair of Sony headphones to replace my Porta Pro (1984). I was shocked at how they and others I tried at various stores sounded terrible at the prices they were going for. I have not found a pair, even at higher prices, that compete, that aren't KOSS. Please bring back your 80 ohms version I bought back in 1989 for $120!

Excelence to take...
Overall
I've been a fan of this brand since the 80's when I bought an HV1/A+ headphones, but they are so cumbersome to use with portable and mobile audio devices, but finally, portapros got designed for mobile devices. Couldn't resist to buy them. Way to go Koss.

I have owned these phones for years - over 20 and I think they are the best you can get. Excellent quality sound and very light weight. I own 2 Porta Pro phones!!!

Wow
Overall
Being completely unbiased in writing this, These headphones are wonderful. In the past I have used headphones from various well known companies priced around 5x higher if not more. These have been the most pleasing to my ears out of the bunch. I bought them on the recommendation of a friend who said they were fantastic. At the price they were, I thought he was either lying exaggerating. How wrong was I! Goes to show that higher price doesn't necessarily mean better sound.

So good I want to buy the other colorway
Overall
Before I bought the Limited Edition, I bought the standard edition and the Sports Pros. When I saw the new styles, features, of the Limited Editions I was excited. And when they released the price of them, my expectation was beat.
The compliments I've gotten on these headphones has increased from the standard editions. "Nice Headphones, they look old and new." I didn't expect so many complements... The style is undeniable.
I've never used a in-line controller like this but it's not hard to understand. Works fine on my 2014 Motorola, running Android N 6.xxxx. The mic works well on my computer too.
Expect everything from the standard editions but stepped up a notch.
The drawback is that I feel if I'm not careful I could easily yank the cables from the headset, which I've done before and almost have done with these in my first week with these.

Awesome sound and case, weird volume control
Overall
The volume doesn't drop to 0 at MIN, it just cuts out the lower frequencies and makes it slightly quieter overall for it. The slider itself is easy to use, as is the play/pause. The single cable from the remote to the jack is nice compared to the dual of the originals.
