I received a pair of Pro4AA headphones for Christmas in 1975. I remember sitting in my room entranced by the swirling sounds of Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love", and spending hours discovering nuances in music I couldn't hear with conventional speakers. The frequency response and clarity of the Pro4AAT continues with the quality I heard so many years ago. As with any headphones, it depends upon the mix of the album or CD, and the equipment transferring the music. As for myself, I'm still lost in the Seventies with Stevie Wonder, and "Living For The City" with my trusty Marantz 2230!

Could be better
Overall
Sorry for the bad english in advance, I'm from germany and hadn't had as much lesseons as I needed ;)
But to the review: I liked the Headphones very much. They're not to heavy, they fit my ears, the sound is excellent. Too bad that they' re already broken after one year of daily using. The right side isn't working anymore and to send them back to america is too much of a hassle. Another con is the cushion. You WILL sweat like a animal under the firm plastic-cover. I won't buy this modell again but well...there are enough other Koss-Headphones to give it a second try :)

Excellent quality
Overall
I bought these headphones for the times I need total isolation and they fulfill the mission admirably. They are perfect for mobile devices as the closed design accentuates the lower frequencies.
Pros: Build quality, sound quality, isolation
Cons: For the price, there is none.

Excellent Quality, Nigh-Indestructible
Overall
I received my Pro4AATs last year as a Christmas gift, and I have to say they are the best headphones I have ever owned. Sound quality is crystal clear and they allow very little to disturb you while listening--the earpieces form a good seal about the ear without being irritating. I would consider them to be (mostly) noise-cancelling. They are a little bulky and heavy(if you do not like too much weight on your neck) however I personally have never had a problem, it may simply be a matter of getting used to them. They're glued to my head for the better part of the day, from morning coffee to the gym, so KOSS did something right when it came to comfort. They've also survived dorm life, negative thirty weather and regular knocks and usage, and only have scratches to show for it--everything else has endured well, sound quality has never been compromised. I will note however that the cord can be a bit of hassle if you're trying to use them on the go, at eight feet it can be difficult to find for, although it is well worth it when using them at a workstation. Also of note: These headphones will sound best with some kind of pocket amplifier(if you're using them with an Ipod, phone, walkman, etc.). I personally use an Auvio Headphone Amplifier and an Apple Ipod with them and I can't complain. They should sound just fine on any professional audio equipment or computer with a suitable power supply. Overall, wonderful headphones. Plus, the lifetime warranty is great, I never worry about having them repaired or accidental damage. If you're looking to get some quality headphones, look no further. These will go far.
Pros: Unmatched sound quality, extremely durable
Cons: Bulky and heavy for some, I did not personally have an issue. Cord can be a bit of a pain to manage

The quality continues
Overall
I have owned NOTHING but Koss Stereophones my entire life. My 1st pair was the Pro4AA purchased in the early 70s I still own them and with the exception of replacing 1 pair of ear cushions they have NEVER failed. I also own a pair of Pr04AAA I bought in the 80s They also are still in service. I purchased my Pro4AAAT Headphones several months ago. I still cant get over the sound quality and the good construction of these headphones. They are a little lighter than my older phones and come with a carrying case for storage. I listen to music often and I expect Great Reproduction. Koss has NEVER let me down. I will always purchase NOTHING but Koss equipment And I highly recommend their products to everyone Iam a very satisfied Long time customer ( over 40 years ) and was born the year John Koss founded the company Dont Buy any other Headphone For price , quality , sound reproduction and value KOSS IS THE BEST !
Pros: Price - Sound Quality - Made in USA - Durable
Cons: NONE

Perfection sounds so good
Overall
My wife bought these for me this christmas. My band is starting to record and I couldn't be happier. They don't feel heavy to me, like some have said, they are very comfortable and don't slip and slide. Being a drummer, I move a lot and have had no issues. And I have to remove them from my ear when someone speaks to me, this is the biggest plus to me, I was worried that my playing would bleed through too much and I wouldn't hear the other instruments coming through the headphones. After 3 recording nights, no issues to speak of. I haven't used an amp yet, so I can't speak to that, but will be ordering one.
Pros: Sound quality
Cons: I don't have more than one pair

Simply amazing. Headphone amp is a must to bring it out. Amp used is the fiio E11 and line out iPod in this case and very pleased with the match-up. I compare many headphones at this price range and none compare in accurate sound reproduction.
Pros: best sound reproduction at any price
Cons: heavy not used for portable

Amazing!
Overall
I bought these to replace my Sennheiser HD 250's. All I can say is WOW! I'm using these headphones to produce electronic music, everything is clear and recognizable, it has a flat frequency response so you are getting exactly what you hear from the audio signal into your headphones and finally into your ears. I've been able to create some solid mixes with these headphones and would highly recommend using them for electronic music production!
Pros: Sound Quality, Comfort, Sleek Design
Cons: Coiled Cord

Koss perfection is still here
Overall
As an aging audiophile and music connoisseur, I bought my first Koss stereophones thirty eight years ago. I've owned others (Sennheiser and Audio-Technica) but none compare to Koss. It's important to understand that Koss will reproduce faithfully whatever you feed into it, therefore, in order to give an accurate, subjective review, one must play an accurate, digital sound source. For this review I listened to Tchaikovsky: 1812 Overture / Capriccio Italian / Cossack Dance from Mazeppa as performed by the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra as conducted by Erich Kunzel. In addition to this classical piece I also listened to Dire Straits' Brother in Arms. The only way either of these performances could sound any better in my Koss stereophones would be if I had access to the SACD versions. Suffice it to say, if you want the best pair of headphones, for the money, the Koss Pro4AA Titanium model can't be beat. While they did have some problem with the digital cannons (what headphones wouldn't?), these headphones are my new favorite.
Pros: Quality sound and comfort
Cons: NONE!

The Legacy Continues
Overall
These headphones have been a set standard in the recording industry for ages. The legacy continues here with the Pro4AA Titanium. Sometimes it can be hard to get a bearing on a middle ground with mixes these days, especially due to the influx of headphone choices. These headphones always give you a firm grip on the reality of a mix. The Pro4AA Titanium model is comfortable over long periods. The Closed Pneumalite™ feels fantastic and doesn't have that awful rubbery feeling. The sound has a texture that can only be heard, to be believed. This is a gift from Koss.
Pros: Clarity, depth, and persistence. Great auditory texture. Quality construction is a one of a kind feel (a space age material beating out all of the cheap rubber out there).
Cons: Lacks the weight of the original.
